Enjoy a night of comedy with us at George Street Social with renowned North East comedians, Simon Donald and Gavin Webster.
The show will start at 8pm and will feature new material from Geordie comic, Gavin Webster’s upcoming Edinburgh Fringe show.
Gavin, who appeared in the smash-hit film, I, Daniel Blake, and has performed packed houses at the Tyne Theatre and far beyond, is a well-known name on the comedy circuit and famed for his Geordie banter and hilarious observations.
In 2014, Gavin was named UK Circuit Comedian of the Year, as voted for by fellow professional comedians online.
Meanwhile, Simon Donald, co-founder of the legendary Viz magazine, will be treating the audience to one of his most popular character creations – Barry Twyford, the hapless market researcher. In the act, loveable idiot Barry has attempted to gain the venue’s permission to perform an exit survey of the audience, but instead accidently booked himself to perform a comedy set.
